^BIOSYNEX - COVID-19 Antigen rapid test is a qualitative test for the nucleocapsid protein (N-protein) of SARS-CoV-2 to assist in the rapid diagnosis of infection with coronavirus, normally N-protein mutation is relatively low, and virus variants mutations usually affect the spike protein (S-protein). Therefore, BIOSYNEX - COVID-19 Antigen rapid test is still able to detect virus variants Omicron.

BIOSYNEX - COVID-19 Antigen rapid test is a rapid, in vitro immunochromatography assay (also known as a lateral flow test) which allows for the qualitative detection of antigens of the nucleocapsid protein (N) of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, in samples of nasal swabs. It has been designed to assist in rapid diagnosis of infections of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Procedure
1. Insert the swab vertically into a nostril, until it starts to resist (approx. 3cm) and roll the swab 5 times, repeat this process in the other nostril
2. Insert the swab into the tube and rotate it at least 6 times and leave the swab in the extraction tube for 1 minute
3. Add 4 drops of solution into test cassette
4. Read the results after 15 minutes
